Bridgeport Real Estate & Living

Bridgeport-Real-EstateBridgeport is a tight knit community that ranks as one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the city.  The influx of new, young families represents a changing of the old with the new.  Bridgeport Chicago real estate includes a large variety of affordable housing including apartments and condominiums, as well as converted homes, two and three-story walk-ups, quaint brick cottages, and large Chicago homes for sale.

On tree-lined streets, you’ll also find many residences being rehabbed representing different styles from the contemporary to the classic Chicago bungalow.  It’s a very comfortable and inviting neighborhood just three miles southwest of the Loop.  It’s also close to Chinatown, Pilsen, the Near South, and Bronzeville.

Bridgeport Amenities

Many residents who grew up in this south side neighborhood (including five Chicago Mayors!) couldn’t imagine living anywhere else!  They respect the neighborhood’s authentic charm created by its working class background, but have a desire to keep the community, fresh, creative, and vibrant with independent businesses, restaurants, bakeries, and coffee houses.  Bridgeport has become a hip new spot thanks to its growing artistic vibe, hot new spots, and the revitalization of historic ones!  What once began as an industrial center is now a growing art and food scene!  There are many smaller galleries, as well as the Bridgeport Art Center and Zhou B Art Center. The Zhou B Art Center provides galleries and studio spaces for more than 60 artists.  In addition to studio and office rental space, the Bridgeport Art Center offers art classes through several of their tenants.

“Happy Seller & Buyer – Always A Smile On Her Face”

Terri is a wonderful agent to work with. She has walked through some scary homes because of me and always had a smile on her face. I have purchased and sold through her and will be happy to use her services in the future.

"Terri made it as simple as possible"

"The first-time home buying process is daunting, but Terri made it as simple as possible for me and my wife. She walked us through every step and thoroughly explained what was happening and why... She was honest and frank when we visited listings, letting us know whether she considered if what we saw was worth our time or might be more trouble than its worth... She'll be the first person we call whenever we decide to sell our house and we couldn't recommend her services enough.
